UNIT 2 - Using the Present Simple

Hello, hello!

In this unit we're reviewing the use of the Present Simple tense in English.

This tense is the one that we use when we talk about an action that happens regularly, an action that is always true or a permanent action.

We form this tense by using the root of the verb itself and, in the cases of the third person singular, we add -s or -es in the end.

You can practice this with the following exercises:

Present simple affirmative, negative, questions exercises

Choose the correct form of the present simple

Form sentences with the correct form of the present simple

Complete with the correct form (present simple) of the verb in brackets

Game with the present simple

Also, this is the song we talked about in class. I just LOVE it! Don't you?

Bye, bye, butterflies! 🦋
